Notice for Dormitory Extension Application for the Second Semester of the 2024 Academic Year

International students who wish to extend their stay due to unavoidable circumstances are encouraged to apply within the designated application period.

 

 

1. Application Period

2024.11.18 (Mon) - 2024.11.24 (Sun)

 

2. Eligibility

International residents who need to extend their dormitory stay due to unavoidable circumstances (e.g., flight reservations)

 

3. Application Method

Please complete and submit your responses in the Google Form below.

4. Room Information

307 Bldg.(double rooms) to be allocated

The assigned rooms will be notified individually later.

 

5. Dormitory Fee

12,000 KRW per night

This rate includes electricity, water, and gas fees.

 

6. Payment Information

Payment Period: 2024.12.02 (Mon) - 2024.12.04. (Wed)

Bank Account: To be provided individually via email

Payment Amount: 12,000 KRW × Number of Nights

- Example) Payment Amount: 12,000 KRW × 4 nights = 48,000 KRW

- Payments must be made strictly within the designated payment period. Failure to do so on the specified dates may result in penalties.

- Applications for extended dormitory stay will be automatically canceled for unpaid applicants.

 

7. Check-in Information

The maximum allowable period for extended stay is one week

(2024.12.21.(check-in) 2024.12.27.(check-out)).

The check-in procedure is the same as the existing check-in process.

From December 21, you will no longer be able to stay in your current dormitory. If you remain without an approved extension, you may face disadvantages.

 

8. Check-out Information

On the check-out date, please follow the existing check-out procedure. Send at least 8 photos showing the cleaned room to the designated manager (chu0806@unist.ac.kr) by 4:00 PM on the same day.

Failure to send these photos you may face disadvantages.

Students who have completed the application with Google Form but have not received the payment information by individual e-mails until 2024.11.29 (Fri), please leave an inquiry at the person in charge's e-mail (chu0806@unist.ac.kr).

Students who have completed the payment but have not received room guidance by individual email until 2024.12.18 (Wednesday) please leave your inquiry to the person in charge email (chu0806@unist.ac.kr).
